Welcome to the SCC Library

The Library contributes to student learning and achievement by supporting students' research needs, teaching information and digital literacies, and promoting reading for enjoyment.

We support and encourage all St Catherine's students to become:

  • lifelong learners

To achieve this, the Library...

  • curates and provides access to a great selection of relevant and high interest print and online resources

  • teaches information literacy and digital literacy skills, in context with Inquiry topics

  • provides a range of services and facilities, appropriate for 21st Century learners

Geraldine is the Librarian. You can find her in the library office. She has great ideas for books and research skills if you are stuck.

Homework Club

(Come along. It's popular!)

Homework Club is held on Tuesday  after school 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM. You can use the computers for study and homework. There is a teacher in the library to help you with homework or anything else you need to use this time for. It is a great place to be if you have sports later to go to.

Manga Club

Manga Club uses the space at the back of the library for their meetings held on Thursday lunchtime. Everyone is welcome to join this great group of students who love Japanese manga, anime, and maybe a bit of K-Pop too!
