Kapa Haka Ngā Maioha o Te Rangikauia dress rehearsal will be held this Sunday 2 July at 2pm. All friends and whānau are invited to tautoko our ropu, prior to them heading up to Otaki for the regional competition. Gold coin entry.

Music All Year 9, Year 10 and Senior Music students will be attending the Strike Percussion Group performance at St Patrick’s College hall on Monday morning. Students may come to school first and go down to St Pat’s with their Period 1 subject teacher, or may go directly to St Pat’s to have the roll taken then.

ADVANCE NOTICE - Mercy in Action Day Friday 7 July. Students may wear mufti.

Plan for the day 8.45am Roll call in Whānau room 9.30am ish Whānau groups involved in Mercy-Action activities as per their plan. Students planning off-site activities must have completed EOTC paperwork, filed with MCD. 11am Morning tea 11.30am Whānau groups continue with activities 1pm Lunch. All Whānau groups are to be back at school by 1pm. 1.30pm Roll call in Whānau Room. Tidy rooms, empty lockers, stack furniture etc. 1.45pm Whānau groups to walk to St Patrick's Parish Church. Bags taken with students. 2pm Mass at St Patrick's Parish Church. 3.20pm Students dismissed from Mass. End of Term 2. 3.30pm Celebration of Sacramental Programme in Studio 1 for families.

NZQA Fees Year 11,12 and 13 students will have been invoiced for $76.00 for NCEA fees. Families who have and are eligible for a community services card will have the fee reduced to $20. Financial Assistance forms were sent out with the tracking sheets. Please complete the forms if applicable to you and return to the school office.

Homestay needed for a Japanese student from 25 July - 1 September. Amane Matsumoto is from Ikubunkan Jr High School in Tokyo. She is 14 years old and will be Yr 10. Tu Tangata Festival 2017 - Tuesday 25 July 2017 More than 20% of the students of St Catherine’s College have joined PolyClub this year and are practising hard to present a stunning St Cath’s performance at this year’s 39th Tu Tangata Festival. The Festival takes place at the Michael Fowler Centre at 6.30pm on Tuesday 25 July 2017. Tickets will be available from Ticketek from 18 July onwards (until sold out - which happens very quickly!). Ticket prices are: $30 - adult; $15 - child
