SHOES AND SCIENCE
It’s time for summer uniform. However, I just need to remind science students - juniors and seniors alike, that sandals without backs on them are not ok for wearing in a science lab. You need Roman-type sandals with backs on them. If you are doing any activity involving chemicals then you have to wear closed-toe shoes, not sandals. This could happen on any day, so have some at school ready. Your PE shoes are fine. You could keep an old pair of closed-toe shoes in your locker, or give them to your science teacher who will store them in the lab. Liz Hill

Tuckshop and Kindo/EZ lunches
Meals will be available to order on Wednesday and Thursday with more days to come as new suppliers come on board. Make sure you register so that you can make orders, and don’t forget there is a $50 voucher up for grabs if you register before next week. To register/order go to the St Catherine’s College web site, go to the students tab and go down the menu to lunches to find the link. Follow the instructions and get ordering! There is now a new mobile-friendly site to order from as well. We will have students distributing the orders from Studio 1 when they come in.

We are also very lucky to have our lovely Nan Walden and her food tech students providing morning teas on Mondays, and possibly Wednesdays this term from the tuck shop, so check out the delicious and healthy things they have on offer.
