St Catherine's Newsletter - 21st June 2019

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Next Wednesday 26 June at 1pm all teachers are holding a PPTA meeting off site to ratify the terms of their negotiated settlement. At St Catherine’s we are having 3 full length teaching sessions followed by Assembly and then all students may go home.

Tomorrow here at school we are hosting High Tea for about 150 past pupils who have registered to celebrate 100 years of Mercy education on this site. Sister Stephanie has been very busy organising the event which has generated lots of interest and promises to be a rewarding afternoon. Many thanks to our PTA which is supporting the occasion and students, who are giving up time to host and act as guides for the visitors.

Our Home-School meetings this week have been well attended and there have been many parent/guardian comments about the conversations of sharing about student achievement and development.

Next Wednesday 26 June our combined Kapa Haka group, NGĀ MAIOHA O TE RANGIKAUIA, will perform a full dress rehearsal in the St Patrick’s College Hall at 7pm. A warm invitation is extended to all your whanau to attend - a gold coin donation is welcomed.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Ngaa mihi

Steve Bryan
