Mathematics Teacher permanent, fulltime

Suitable for a beginning teacher

A teacher with the ability to teach Mathematics to all levels (preferred) of the NZ Curriculum, starting Term 1 2023. Ngā Maioha o Te Rangikauia

A combined Kapa Haka group across the three Catholic colleges of Wellington. We have a proud tradition of Kapa Haka performance and celebration of Tikanga and Te Reo Māori that we are determined to grow into the future. We are looking for a person who can work with our tamariki and our kaiako to support this kaupapa. 

We have a group of - up to 30 - 35 students Working towards performing a full kapa haka bracket at the Regional Competition 2023.

We are looking for someone to help us celebrate our contribution to this kaupapa and offer fresh and contemporary ideas. An ideal applicant would also be familiar with Te Atiawa and Ngati Toa and there is an expectation that they model their behaviour and teach and model them to their students.    Values education in a Catholic school is fundamental to the life of the school. These values, which are normally identified in each school’s charter, are unabashedly Christian values. All staff are expected to model these values in their behaviours and to teach and proclaim them to their students.  


  • Hours are negotiable; after-school hours and weekends

International Student and Homestay Coordinator

Fixed term – start date flexible from October 2022 until 15 May 2023

St Catherine’s College is a girls only Yr 9-13 State Integrated Catholic College.  We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated International Student and Homestay Coordinator, initially fixed term with the possibility of it being extended. Students expected to arrive Term 1 2023.  Experience desired but not essential. 

  • Hours are 8 hours per week for Term 4 2022.  Could be extended by negotiation for Term 1 2023.

  • Applicants must have a NZ full driver’s licence.

  • Remuneration is in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement.

  • Fixed-term contract until May 2023.
