Our international students had their first outing with their buddies to Porirua last Sunday. There is a little art museum called Pataka where many Maori exhibitions are currently on. That's the main destination for all of them. First they took a train at Wellington Station to Porirua and had lunch in the food court at North Shopping Center. Afterwards students had a chance to appreciate CBD of Porirua on the way to Pataka museum. They did some hands on activities and took lots of photos. Now it is walking time! A pair of St Cath's buddy and Japanese buddy went for a walk along the sea. Such a short walk! They returned in 10 seconds. Anyway a big pirates cove was waiting for them. It was a day for the students to get to know each other and make friends.
